About the Lyceum
Arts
The Lyceum tries to encourage a creative personality. Therefore in the curriculum there are such disciplines as
- History of music and choir singing which encourage love for music as well as developing a sense of rhythm;
- Choreography teaches them flexibility and skill of managing their own bodies;
- History of arts and painting develop the skill to see and understand aesthetic qualities
Folklore studies and Applied Arts perform an important role too as they serve as a key to the memory of the children’s roots as well as develop a careful attitude to traditions. It is essential that all these subjects are included into one common schedule, being that where all the subjects are of equal importance.
