About the Lyceum
Rooms for teaching history and history of art

In the History and History of Art classrooms there are genuine exhibits from ancient excavations and museum copies presented to school by the Institute of Archeology of Russian Academy of Sciences as well as brought by the students and their teachers from different trips to different countries.

We pay a lot of attention to aesthetics upbringing. Therefore even the walls are a part of the upbringing process in the Lyceum – the students’ pictures are exhibited on the first and the second floors as well as in the Arts classroom. As well as children’s pictures there are serious paintings, watercolors and graphics. These are a result of the children in the Lyceum being taught to do their work at an advanced standard.

In December of 1998 in the Exhibition Hall of the Union of Artists in Starokonyushennyi Lane an exhibition of our students’ art works took place. There were about 200 works. The second exhibition took place from the 14th to the 22nd December 2002. Both exhibitions were a great success.
