Graduated from Moscow State Institute of History and Archive Studies. Has been working in the archive of Central Statistics Department, in the depository of the All-Union Book Chamber, etc. Since 1984 has been working as a teacher of History and Social Studies in schools of Moscow. He is awarded with honorary diplomas “For Innovations in Teaching”. Has been teaching in the lyceum since 1996.

His hobbies are: directing amateur plays and tourism
